About Us

Family Strong CT, LLC was proudly founded by Eric Koestner, MS. Ed., BCBA, LBA and Sara Brown, LCSW in May 2015. Together they have over 30 years of experience providing behavioral health services to the community. 

Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and his Master of Science degree in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. 

While working as a special education teacher in the public school setting Eric advanced his education with the completion of his BCBA certification from Florida Institute of Technology. In addition to providing services in the public sector Eric has helped numerous individuals and their families in their home and community settings with his superior knowledge of ABA principles. 

Sara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She completed her Master of Social Work degree at Smith College School for Social Work. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Sara has provided behavioral health services to children and families in both public and private settings. She has maintained a private practice in Southbury, CT since 2000.
